A Turning on Buddha Nature.....
An excerpt from Khenpo Samdrup's
"Compendium of knowledge"

In order to practice the sublime Dharma we have to know that the accomplishment of our efforts is enlightenment. And the reason why that is possible is because we all have Buddha Nature. All sentient beings possess Buddha Nature, and so according to the Buddha's teachings, both in sutra and in tantra, it's because of this basis, which is primordially enlightened nature, the Buddha Nature, or tathagathagarba that all beings have the potential to manifest complete enlightenment - to become completely enlightened Buddhas. And even though there are many different classes of sentient beings, and beings differ in intellectual capacities, regardless of the temporary differences, at the very basis the essence is exactly the same. It is the essence that is the tathagathagarba, Buddha Nature, and that is unchanging. Khenpo Samdrup

Gar Drolma Buddhist Center was founded in 2002 by His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche, a high lama in the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. We offer many weekly programs which are intended to assist the spiritual development of experienced practitioners as well as new students.
The center has authentic Buddhist teachers, both local and visiting, who represent an authentic and unbroken lineage of Buddhist training.
